Our Classes

At Proclaim, we offer dance classes for ages 3 through adulthood, welcoming each dancer into an encouraging environment. With a variety of classes including ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, and private lessons, there is a place for everyone to grow and learn. All classes are held at our studio in Dillsburg, PA.

Our Classes

  • Ballet Garden is perfect for our littlest dancers, where they begin learning the basics of ballet while exploring movement and having fun in a joyful, nurturing environment.

  • Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles and focuses on building strong technique, proper alignment, flexibility, and grace. In class, dancers will work at the barre, in the center, and across the floor while learning classical movements, musicality, and discipline in a structured yet encouraging environment. 

    We offer ballet classes for ages 3 through high school. Dancers through 5th grade are placed by age, while 6th grade and up are placed by level to support their growth.

  • Lyrical combines the technique of ballet with the freedom of jazz, allowing dancers to express emotion and tell a story through movement. Classes focus on fluidity, control, and connection to music while encouraging artistry and personal expression in a supportive environment.

  • Musical Theater combines acting and storytelling to bring songs and characters to life. Dancers will work on expressive movement, performance quality, and stage presence while learning fun choreography set to popular Broadway-style music in an energetic and encouraging environment.

  • Jazz/Hip Hop blends the sharp technique and energy of jazz with the rhythm and style of hip hop. Dancers will build strength, coordination, and confidence while having fun learning dynamic choreography.

  • Tap focuses on rhythm, timing, and musicality as dancers learn to create sound. Classes build coordination and clarity of sound while developing a strong sense of rhythm.

  • Pointe is an advanced ballet class where dancers continue training on pointe shoes, focusing on strength, technique, balance, and control. Placement is by teacher approval to ensure each dancer is physically ready and safely prepared for pointe work. Pre-Pointe classes prior to this class.

  • Boys Hip Hop is a high-energy class designed just for boys, focusing on rhythm, strength, coordination, and confidence. Dancers will learn age-appropriate hip hop technique and choreography.

  • Our adult classes are offered in 6-week sessions and are open to both former dancers and women looking for a fun way to stay active. Classes include ballet barre for strength and conditioning, as well as joyful movement-based dance classes designed to be both energizing and enjoyable.
