Our Mission at Proclaim is to teach excellence in dance while learning and practicing dance as a form of worship to glorify the Lord.  We will Proclaim through dance the freedom that Christ gives through the gospel. 

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."

    Karolena Lehman

    DIRECTOR/OWNER

    As the Director of Proclaim, my heart and passion has always been to teach, mentor, and invest in young girls through dance. With years of teaching experience, involvement in church ministry, and opportunities to help manage a dance studio, I have seen firsthand the impact that dance can have in shaping both artistry and character.

    My deepest goal is simple: that every person who walks through the doors of this studio would grow in their love for God and learn to worship Him in everything they do. Through dance, I desire to create an environment where students are encouraged, challenged, and reminded that their gifts are ultimately for His glory.

    Lexie Brewster

    LEAD INSTRUCTOR

    Lexie Brewster has been at Proclaim for several years and serves as our Teacher Mentor. She has been dancing since the age of 5, with 18 years of training in ballet, tap, hip hop, modern, jazz, and musical theater. Lexie appeared in multiple musical performances throughout high school and has a deep joy for teaching others to worship God through dance and music. In addition to teaching, she supports and mentors our teaching staff. She is excited for another year of worshiping our God alongside your students!

    Annika Gerber

    ARTISTIC ASSISTANT

    Annika Gerber has been dancing since she was four years old and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dance from Messiah University in May 2024. She has received formal training in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, and modern, and has also gained experience in dance instruction and choreography over the past several years.

    Annika is passionate about sharing the joy of dance with those around her and is excited to guide young artists to be the best they can be for the glory of God. She will also serve as Artistic Assistant, helping with technique training, studio management, and artistic design.
